WHAT IS IT FOR? Original Andrews Salts quickly and effectively relieves:

INGREDIENTS: Effervescent powder containing: Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate Ph Eur 22.6% w/w, Citric Acid Ph Eur
19.5% w/w and Magnesium Sulphate 17.4% w/w. Also contains 2.1 g of sucrose per 5 ml spoonful. The
recommended daily adult dose of four 5 ml spoonfuls contains 8.4 g of sucrose. Sodium content: 319 mg per 5 ml
HOW TO TAKE: Adults: For upset stomach, indigestion and over-indulgence, measure one level spoonful (5 ml spoonful) and take in a glass of water as necessary, up to a maximum of four times a day. For constipation: measure two level spoonfuls (two 5 ml spoonfuls) and take in a glass of water before breakfast or at bedtime. Children over 3 years: Use half the adult dose. Not suitable for children under 3 years of age. Close the lid after use. Wash and dry spoon and store on top of lid. CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR if a laxative dose is required every day or there is persistent abdominal pain. CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR: Before taking this product, if you are under the care of your doctor or are taking tetracycline antibiotics or any other prescribed medicines, or are pregnant. Before taking this product, if you are on a low sodium diet, have high blood pressure, heart or kidney disease. Avoid frequent use. Before taking this product, if you have diabetes or any other sugar absorption problems. If a laxative dose is required every day or there is persistent abdominal pain. If symptoms persist. Overdosage may cause diarrhoea. If this occurs, reduce dosage when the effect should go away. If it persists, or you are concerned about any other unwanted effects, stop using and talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
